Yes.  Forgot that but definitely.  I am sure I read somewhere before that in a survey the Iron Giant got voted as the most moving animated film ever made.

Yeah, I have very fond memories of those, watching them as a kid in the '70s.  They were made in the Czech Republic (or Czechoslovakia at the time, I guess!)  Most of the stories were pretty cheerful, though.

They were like my generation's version of Pingu.
