But I wanna replace the Shape Shifter with something. I just don't know what. I would like something fairly cheap, certainly no more than £200.

Interesting modulation effects that could go into the effects loop might be interesting. Anything that has some interesting 'hold the pedal to perform an action, let it go to return to normal' modes might be cool. Essentially I want something that I can turn on for specific notes in a riff, and allow that to echo off via the Timebender. Interesting pitch effects... sure... but not for the classic detuned lead lines or harmony lead lines. That isn't interesting to me. Something that can undulations underneath my main guitar line, to simulate pads and atmospheric spatial noises. Possibly a Pog... but something more interesting than a Pog. Ideally something with a mix control or wet and dry levels.

Just.... I dunno... interesting!!

For reference, the gap will accomodate a Zoom G3, two Boss/Hardwire pedals... but it will not accomodate anything approaching the size of a Line 6 DL-4.
