I can't play everything from my library. That would be preposterous! I've got things like a whole sheaf of Marshall Harrison transcriptions next to every chord melody article Martin Taylor ever put in GT and all Eric Roche's stuff.... My face is melting just thinking about all those notes! My point was that I learn at least a tiny fraction of the printed music I accumulate, which does keep me moving forward, though the pace of progress has slowed to glacial and I have nowhere near the dedication @bigjon displays, working through everything in each GT while turning up the metronome gradually every month. I'm sure Wheaty is talking about me, too, and I'd love to take lessons with him to improve, but I dunno if I could fit in lessons with anyone atm, even if I could find a suitable instructor.
