I'm guessing they wanted the brandname to sound like "hot tone", but every time i see it i can't help but see "ho tone". Which isn't quite so good.

Would have been perfect for those plastic Danelectro pedals a couple of years back though; cheap, nasty and liable to crack if you abused them, but most of the time got the job done.

As with all cheap delays, though, it seems that the maximum delay time is only about 400ms. Pfffft.

The other problem I see with these is that they're too small. I foresee problems hitting the button on a dark stage, with that bar right behind the switch - you can't just stomp on it, you've got to daintily tap it with your toe. I can't see any situation where that's a good thing.

I thought the idea of the bar was that it's higher than the knobs but lower than bottom of the switch's travel, so you can just stomp on the whole thing with impunity?

I guess that might work if you're not wearing shoes with particularly stiff soles. I'd have to try one to make sure...
