Hi all, stumbled on this today, 

I don't really play solid bodies any more, but I would definately make this the exception, 

IMHO its the best looking Solid Body I have seen in a good decade, What do you guys think?

Only downside to me is the fake etched carbon weave around the pickups, I wouldn't have fake carbon on my Motorbike as it looks cheap and tacky so why on a 3k guitar??

I love it & the carbon weave effect ! For me so nice to have something heading in a different direction from the main stream look... saw JP play a variety of these at Wembley last Feb and they looked and sounded awesome. (altho JP could probably make a broom sound good)

It's also neck thro and not bolt on

Big price ticket though even when discounted..... maybe a used one in 6 months will get sneaked in my house while SWMBO is trimming the flower beds haha

I quite like it.

Reminds me a bit of the Charvels (IIRC) that were painted in Corvette colours.

Needs to be a proper metallic paint job in one colour.

Apart from the colour, switch positioning, carbon fibre bit, bridge, inlays and headstock, I quite like it.

 

No seriously, the blue 6 string version of this would be pretty cool without the Shield of Fail on the body. Or the inlays. Or switch positioning.

Newer versions have just been released.. along side a JP15 (far closer to previous JP's)
