This amuses me. I was quite the opposite.

I sold an amp and the guy turned up at the door with guitar in hand. Asked to play it, but it was late and kids were asleep. I politely said 'sorry, but no'. He gave me the cash and took the amp.

Didn't hear back so guess he was happy. Lol.
