Sorry to hear that. A year and a half ago my mum was diagnosed with secondary bone cancer, 15 years after being clear of breast cancer. It sucks. A lot. Finding the right pain management is the most important thing for quality of life, makes a huge difference, and once you've both had time to come to terms with it, she may find things like aromatherapy and mindfulness useful. Sounds hippy dippy, but anything that helps her to relax will be important.
