Did I tell you I met Vai a couple of years ago at a London guitar show?

He had been using hair colour on his beard and you could see the hair dye rubbed onto his chin.

He looked like a F->M transexual who had let himself go.

Yes Tolis was there.

I was along to support Irene Ketikidi who played for Vai.

Thought it was a bit weird that Vai came all the way out to the UK and they DIDN'T play at all.

He just came out to chat to people.

I wasn't playing- Irene did one song in front of the audience that Vai critiqued.

When I say support I mean I went to see her play- to a backing track.

This was the one where Justin Sandercoe interviewed Vai.

It was all a bit weird.
