    I could debate that (I think the various risks for the buyer are significantly more likely than an out-and-out scammer is for the seller, and there are steps you can take to reduce the risk) but even if you disagree the fact is that a guy with nearly two grand to spend on a guitar's going to have plenty of options that don't involve the complete absence of protection he'd have buying an expensive item from a stranger using PPG.

    Insisting on PPG maybe gives you some added protection but I think it massively reduces your chance of getting a sale.  Especially when the risks have (quite rightly) been flagged up by a forum mod.
