    Wot no Greg yet??

I was absolutely gobsmacked with the neck on this tele the other day

I was slightly confused by that, expecting Greg Koch but that's GregsGuitars. Quite a pro looking video.

Don now heads up Customer Services at Suhr. Great service, but not the best in front of camera!!

Rick Graham is worth a look. Fantastic guitarist and all round nice guy. I met him when we were studying music at college and he was a shit hot player back then...

I once did a YouTube demo but it wasn't very good at all. Maybe one day I'll do more... been meaning to do one with my fuzz for a while.
Or you could shave it off and do one. Or a before and after...
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

Any fans of Johan Segeborn? Not the greatest player, but does some fantastic gear head to heads and general comparisons. I like it anyway ☺

Seems like no one has mentioned Shnobel (you tube name) yet.
Best guitar effects (you tube name) also has some nice demoes.

My overall favourite is Pete Thorn. Great informative videos, excellent playing and he always pulls off something self made which I think is pretty cool. Apart from that he just seems like THE nice guy of the guitar world.

  • Maybe it's time for a fretboard demo competition?

    Mark Lucas from NStuff.

Please tell me you dont mean the bald guy who plinks terrible sounding sub-jazz noodling on whatever guitar he demos? That dude makes every single guitar sound exactly the same and exactly as flat and lifeless. Its like he is sucking all of the excitement out of the world when he plays.
    That's your opinion, not mine.

Massive Pete Thorn fan here. His tones can seem super spiky bright but when put into context they win!

Never see much love for the Tone Shack. Not tone king, tone shack. Some astonishing playing and he's home grown too by the sounds of it.

I like the tone shack, they demo a wide range of kit too.

I think it was their boss od3 demo that put me onto it... Quality sounding pedal.

Of course. That's what opinions are. I'm genuinely baffled that at least two people here think he's great! He's awful. Great technique. Knows his onions. Sounds fucking rubbish. And I like me some jazz.
Different strokes. Shows how subjective everything is. If there were a worst YouTube demoers thread he'd have been my first choice!

Mark Lucas lets you hear what the clean guitar sounds like, without covering it up with massive technique or genre-specific riffs. Make that 3 who like him! :))

Anyone mentioned Wes Hauch yet? A mate of Keith Merrow. He first came to my attention a couple of years ago when he did a guest solo on Periphery's second album and later joined The Faceless for a while. He's a phenomenal guitarist.

Alex Hutchings is the Roland / Boss demonstrator
he's an extremely versatile and absolute jaw dropping monster of a player
talks about the kit with great clarity in a very meaningful way..
also, he's a tip top all round good egg sort of fella..
play every note as if it were your first

Tom Quayle! Blows my brains with his legato, also Sumner McKane.

+1 for Tom Quayle. Didn't like his nervousness at first - too self-conscoous - but he's grown well into the role and produces more thoughtful reviews than many of those listed above.
