Star Wars .. Vader would win this time and kill Solo, the whiny kid and the walking teddy bear. This would prevent and endless line of sequels and the abomination that is Jar Jar Binks.

The Crow series. Only this time, it'd be good past the first film.

Maybe Highlander too, along the same lines. Perhaps with more sensible casting decisions this time, rather than a Scot playing a Spaniard and a Frenchman playing a Scot.

The Matrix trilogy. The first one had so much promise then it all went terribly wrong. I'd have the Keanu role played by a person who doesn't look utterly ridiculous trying to do kung fu too.

I love all those old REH/ERB characters, but they nearly always get messed up when turned into films.  Hollywood is finally making decent superhero movies (at least in terms of the way the films look, even if the plots are still shaky), it would be good to see a bit of swords & sorcery done properly.

It has the potential to be a terrifying horror film but the original was just torture porn, acted and plotted badly.
