Yep. I "celebrated" with a chinese from the best takeaway in the area, and ate 1/3 of it so there's plenty left in the fridge to nuke up later. had a Phil's Gin, watched part of a DVD and listened to part of a CD both of which arrived from Amazon today, then to the pub for a couple of pints, then back here for whisky & more entertainment to be resumed shortly after the valves in the hifi have warmed up again.

Not for me either, be working Sat as normal, and tomorrow we are doing a charity event for children's cancer, it a going to be even busier than usual at the studio.

Me too.  However - I do get Tuesday off in lieu for being on call on Saturday, so.... fingers crossed, if it's all quiet on the Western Front, I might end up not having to work again until Wed :-)

Ran out of tacho time last night in Liverpool so had to stay out in the cab.
Halfway home now and once I'm parked up I'm done until Tuesday.

DIY, fret scalloping/ruination and router table fence/jig making hopefully and some washing and home cleaning, although I'm working tomorrow.  Think I'II start with a wank as per usual.  Need a few days to maintain my tools, change clutches and carburettors though, but it can wait for a few evenings in a few weeks.

Woo! Day off today, gig later and not back in till tuesday. I only worked Wednesday Thursday this week too!

Attempted to got out with the Mrs and kids but couldn't cope with the amount of people in town so came home, got the house to myself, might crank the amp to 11 and play bass naked

Progress in the studio

So far I am missing a data cable from my Acorn RISC PC to the printer, an insert lead from the Quadraverb to the desk, the headphone amplifier and associated leads, and other stuff I don't know is missing yet.

 

What does work is the RISC PC (minus printer), the guitar amplifier into the Speaker Emulator into the desk, the DJX and Rhodes keyboards into the desk, the Hammond organ (although a key is broken and the whole thing sounds like it needs an overhaul), and the Quad 303 that I bought for use as a monitor amplifier does the job nicely.
