You are right. (I might disgree about the last bit).
And of course the only way to address that is to have a higher % of female guitar players joining the forum when compared to the % of male guitar players/owners who drift towards  Fretboard.

The problem with women is they all moan when they are outnumbered but secretly want to be the only girl.  Take my wife for example (other than the two male dogs, male horse and male rabbit) there is the two of us and our two sons.  She tell everyone who'll listen how she's outnumbered and it isn't fair.  So be a caring husband, one night after a gig I brought a couple of women back to ours to even up the numbers.  She went fucking nuts.  See all this "Oh there too many boys!" crap is bollocks.
