Because it's in line with government policy.  We must remove ten of the most outspoken male members who regularly contribute and replace them with thirty women.  Also any new male members must wait until at least 10 women have joined before a single male member can join.  It matters not if the women are actually interested in the forum at all, or even if activity drops off to zero, but it must be done in the interests of positive discrimination and fairness.  Any man attempting to join Mumsnet should be openly ridiculed and banned from Mumsnet for life.  It matters not if they are single fathers.  All men are evil.  Women should also get special priviledges and entitlements as well.  For example, of they sell an item in the classified for £2000, receive the funds but never post it, they should not be harassed for the funds, as this constitutes sexual harrassment.  This is only fair.
