WTF is Pointless all about???

So its Good Friday, its pissing down and I'm ill (either Ebola ...... or a very, very heavy cold!).

The telly is on and I'm watching 'Pointless' for the frst time. What the fuck is it all about?

They are currenyly thinking of words ending in 'ack' and seem to get points for wrong answers?

So, am I stupid or is it the most aptly named TV programme ever! I'm guessing that is kind of the point and it is meant to be ironic?

Maybe I'm too ill to get it?

I find myself shouting at the TV when they are being thick. But not as much as The Link, they seem to be really thick on that. I try not to watch them as it just makes me cross!

Oh I like the presenters, quite a fan of Alexander Armstrong, and it's not like I am particularly clever. Maybe it is the pressure of being on TV.

I've never seen the TV show but my kids have got the game. It took me a few minutes to get the idea, but it's actually quite clever - it basically means you need to know a lot in order to come up with the least well-known answer that isn't wrong.

But the concept of making a TV show of it strikes me as, well - pointless!

I like it. I treat all quiz shows like a pub quiz, and I enjoy them too.
