I have had both and as Koss says...light years apart in neck dimensions. The R8 I had was massive, but i regret moving it on. I have an R9 now......yum yum. Absolutely love it

Nice one! Looks lovely. My CR8 is one of the few I'll never sell, I don't think Gibson made a better guitar for the money than the R8's.

Happy NGD, Historics are truly superb! Glad tat R8 ticks your boxes, I bought my R6 on a whim and then proceeded to sell my excellent Standard because I had no more use for it.
