Anybody else love that country Tele tone ?

I mean those great country pickers like Brent Mason, Vince Gill, Brad Paisley? I love their tone n style. Cant do it but wanna learn a few of their licks or in that style...another thing to add into the trick bag to sound a bit different to the standard rock/blues licks we all know loads of.

On a mobile so cannot do links but on Youtube search 'John Jorgenson Telecaster' and you get an old Guitarist vid of him talking about Teles and demoing a couple of easy licks.

Jerry Donahue 'Around the bend' is worth searching on.

Johnny Hyland is the chickin picker extraordinaire BUT save that for a bit!

Teles have got to be the most general purpose guitars out there. I've seen them used for everything from heavy metal to jazz. It's not just about the twang, lovely as that is.
