Laptop bag here too, it's a backpack-style one kinda like this ( http://www.targus.com/uk/citygear-15-16-inch-backpack-black-grey-tcg650 ) so my bass head (Ampeg PF350) goes in the padded laptop section and each cable gets its own little 'filing' compartment. Plenty of nook 'n' cranny pockets for tools, spares, drugs fuses and earplugs too.

An old laptop bag - I used to use it for my work overnight bag until one of the cats took a leak on it... 

I did clean it up before I packed the leads in it though.

I use an Intern, also known as a pack mule, carry bitch, and multi purpose bitch, there is a down side to this though, she does require a salary, and now that shw is technicallyu no longer an intern she has had a raise, she needs to be fed every so often, not to mention watered.  Plus she has this really annoying habbit where she tries to match the bag the equipmenty is being carried around in with the clothes she is wearing that day, I'm not joking, I have seen her un unpack bags of leads and effects pedals, just so she can repack them in a bag that matches her outfit better than the last bag did.
