Football is rubbish.
Not a musician.
I used to encounter a similar band a few years back with my old band. They weren't very good, but were very full of themselves. They didn't own the gear they needed to gig but expected other bands to lend them stuff. The first time we saw them was at a gig where we'd arranged a friend's PA hire firm to provide the PA setup, and their singer proceeded to kick a mic stand around the stage for several minutes for no particular reason. The next time we were due to share a bill our singer got a call asking to borrow gear- drum kit, guitar amp, possibly bass amp too. You can imagine our response.
Don't talk politics and don't throw stones. Your royal highnesses.
Call me selfish but I've worked hard for years to get the quality level of gear that I own.
People putting pints on top of amps, tears in tolex or speaker cloth and bent control knobs etc.
Zero respect for other people's gear.
It's like turning up to a running race and asking to borrow trainers.
I also don't understand paying through the nose to get your barnet cut, but then I'm bald and bitter.
I can't help about the shape I'm in, I can't sing I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to

Likewise, I'd like for another band to look out for me, while expecting me to bring my own. No point ruining the gig for the sake of pride, but turning up with nothing is just stupid.
Basically mediocre, disposable noughties "indie" music- Scouting for Girls and that.

BTW how did the OP know that bloke had a £150 haircut? Did he ask him what he paid for it?
Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself
