We were at the Spaniard in Hampstead, having a drink after walking our dog.

There was a lot of dogs around and Liam, his girlfriend and a couple of people came over and sat next to us and the small collection of dogs that were at our feet..

My missus said something to one of the dogs like 'oh, aren't you a beautiful doggy'.

Like me, she is an Australian and she has a high pitched and somewhat unique voice.

In the interest of balance, I saw him in Harrods once and he was as nice as pie. Happy to sign autographs and pose for pictures with queues of people. He had Nicole and their baby with him at the time too, and nothing was too much trouble, even letting people have photos with the baby.

As I see it, he is the one with the bad attitude & for me to get violent for something that is relatively minor would reflect poorly on me.

I'm happy with how I handled it, which was to largely ignore it.

I agree with the first paragraph completely.  Why would you ruin your afternoon of something so silly by someone who doesn't have the required filters to realise that might offend?  Life's too short to get angry over every idiot - plus, you don't want to be in the Daily Star.
