Finally arrived - been a while since I've been this excited by the UPS man dropping off a guitar, but always fancied one of these. Hard to photograph, but looks great in the flesh. Quite a lot of lacquer cracks for a guitar this age, but adds to the rawk image! Is there a decent alternative to PB? I hate using it - it was so straight forwards a few years ago....they've really screwed it up in recent years!

2007 limited run. They came in black, red, green and blue. There was an SG series too that looked a lot more, err, car-like.

Fantastic. I almost bought a red one of these from Gregs Guitars a few years ago. Think they are 'Hot Rod Car' inspired - hence the flames and chrome - and came with splittable 490/498 pickups as standard. Built to stand tough 'on the road' conditions so the hardware is meant to be tough. I loved the clarity in Gregs videos.

Where did this one come from?
