So who are the guys to look at for the posh stuff. Dealers that we generally go to to dream/ drool. Here's my list so far...

Peach Guitars
World Guitars
Sound Affects Premier
Guitar Guitar
Andertons
Mansons
Cranes
Forsyths

Getting a bit of inheritance and want to make sure I'm not missing anyone.

The Bigsby was the first successful design of what is now called a whammy bar or tremolo arm, although vibrato is the technically correct term for the musical effect it produces. In standard usage, tremolo is a rapid fluctuation of the volume of a note, while vibrato is a fluctuation in pitch. The origin of this nonstandard usage of the term by electric guitarists is attributed to Leo Fender, who also used the term “vibrato” to refer to what is really a tremolo effect.

Not sure yet. Looking at everything from Suhrs to Martins to Mesas to Klons. Just going to go into a few on my travels and see what takes my fancy. Want the good stuff though. Might be new, might be vintage. Literally have no idea other than the money will be spent on something guitar.

    Dealer ... or custom builder?

I'd rather spend a spare £2k + with Feline or Bailey (again) where I could spec what I wanted, where I'd get something completely unique, and something that I'd never be tempted to part with.
Having trouble posting images here?  This might help.

I had considered that. The problem I have is my tastes change all the time. I was seriously considering a custom built Suhr but when I think custom, I think about the money I would lose when I inevitably decide to sell it on. Yes, I am that idiot! I am in no doubt about the quality of some of the UK builders. The Feline stuff looks incredible. Might end up going that way.

Not sure. Just making a list of all the dealers that sell posh stuff so I can visit on my travels. I know I'll walk in somewhere and just fall in love with something.

Wildwire in Selby are great for PRS and often have a few other high end guitars they've taken in trades.

Chandlers.  Lot of good second hand stuff.  Some high end new stuff like Huss and Dalton acoustics.
