I had some of her bass guitar instruction books way back in the 70's, there was another thread here about her sometime in the recent past.

Lots of beach boys too, pet sound iirc
And you know what else? Those safety lids on bottles of sanatogen. There I am trying to get the lid off and along comes my six year old and says "there you are daddy" and it's off in a Jiffy. Someone's gonna get hurt.

I know about her because she used to get mentioned in Guitar Player a lot in the 1980s, especially in Tommy Tedesco's Studio Log column.

For a moment I was actually going to write that I hadn't heard any of her playing....

Interesting - I always thought it was a baritone guitar.

I've known about her for many years - can't remember how I found out about her originally - but it still surprises me how much she played on, and I keep coming across more.

I'm fairly certain the solo was played by Glenn Campbell on Carol's Danelectro longhorn 6 string bass (them both being part of the wrecking crew and all) .

I've read that a fair few times before and it was mentioned in a Glen Campbell documentary too .

There's a YouTube clip where he plays it with the Stone Temple Pilots and the sound is spot on .

Which Doors tracks has she played on?
I can't find anything about work she's done with them.
