  • Unless you've got a toddler - they don't get it. 5 am is still 6 am to them!

Don't have any device in the house that doesn't automatically adjust (I guess that includes children- ain't got none of them) so we don't even really notice, aside from being well rested.

I do have to change the cars over- mine will be done within a day.
Mrs Oct will completely forget to do hers- which means you will actually be on time for things for a change.

But does the dog need walking an hour earlier now?

The cuckoo in my clock is extremely confused and seems to have finally given up the ghost.

Ah. I should have guessed from your photo, shouldn't I? Her legs look like they don't quite go all the way to the ground!

  • I absolutely HATE the 6 monthly clock change.

I wish they'd decide which way they want it and then LEAVE IT ALONE!

I'd vote for GMT, but if you gave me 5 years I might just start getting used to BST ...

I enjoyed my extra hour of power rangers with the little man on sunday. It was much better than staying in bed.

  • I can get up for GMT. Sod BST, can't be done. I was on time for work this morning for the first time in 6 months.

  • Funny thing is, I was well ready for my lunch today, despite this morning having the time to cook bacon & egg for breakfast.

  • I'd hate it where ever I live. dark mornings/evenings no biggie, at this latitude you can't have daylight at both ends of the day without having what would be to employers an unacceptably short day.

I totally resent being told to get up an hour earlier for 6 months just because the government says so
