I have no doubt it will sound and play very nicely.

Looks the part too.

However, it's still an Epiphone branded guitar, so I guess we're just wondering why the seller won't just state that in the title?

If we're going to start listing every brand that the guitar isn't instead of just writing what it actually is, we're going to have some very long thread titles

Strikes me as a bit eBay-ish (which is not a good thing in my book) to advertise something with "not a Gibson" in the title, presumably in the hope of getting a few hits on the ad for people searching for Gibson.

So, I've edited the title.
