I bought an RMC Picture Wah because John Mayer was using one, same goes for the Keeley Ts9 and Katana

I bought a Super Reverb because SRV and Wes Mostgomery both used them

My first guitar, a Dean Baby ML - that's all Dimebag's fault. And its recent refinish is obviously EVH-inspired. Dime was known as a massive Van Halen fan so I like to think he'd approve.

I got an SG Junior copy pretty much entirely because of Steven Battelle from LostAlone using an original '65 one... then I chopped it in for a DC Junior copy because it's better... and kind of because of Dave Flett, who used to be in Manfred Mann's Earth Band and is killer.

I once bought a black Tele Custom as Jeff Buckley played various coloured standard Teles and occasionally black Les Paul Customs. Seemed logical at the time, otherwise I don't think I've ever really gone down that route.

You say that but as a bit of a Gilmour fan I did have to look away whenever @Gassage posted pics of his board for fear of where I might end up... And thinking on it, there's a TV Yellow lump of loveliness hanging up in the spare room that was inspired by you

Don't look at James' posts, he has expensive tastes, and the means to pay for them.

Play your TV Yellow in a band then, that's where they shine! Mine got hammered on Saturday night. Sounded epic through the Orange Rocker.
