And the people talking about FX... yeah. I bought a Maxon Fire fuzz on the strength of Dennis Kayzer's demo of it... and I've spent so, so much money on pedals just on the strength of PGS Andy's videos. Off the top of my head, the Maxon OD808X, the Hardwire Supernatural, the MXR Univibe, the Electro-Harmonix Bass Soul Food AND the Nobels ODR-1 (my favourite), solely on Andy's demos. That's about £400. What a fucking bastard the man is

I saw Innes Sibun play a gig and went out the next day and bought a wah ( Cry Baby, I have no idea what Innes was using other than it was a wah and Cry Baby was the only brand I knew of) and then quickly realised I was shit at using a wah and it didn't make me sound like him.

Boss SD1 so I could sound like Billy Duffy. That didn't work either.
