Gigs in Edinburgh

Not sure why I haven't remembered to update this more often than more than two years ago!

But anyway, my band Kurtz have a gig on Friday 11th January at Henry's Cellar Bar, along with Land Of Cakes and one other band TBC.

This will be my first gig since I broke my arm last summer - I'm pretty much back to normal now although I might be playing my borrowed Fender Mustang instead of my Rickenbacker...

@ICBM Excellent! I'm hoping to be there. I met Andy from Land of Cakes last week and made the connection. Break a leg... oh... wait!

Yeah, I might come along. I've a hospital appointment tomorrow for some minor treatment but should be fighting fit by Friday.

Cheers, just kidney stones - I'm a veteran, third dose of lithotripsy in three months so I'm well versed in the process. A few pints should help the fragments pass. :-)

Plus Kurtz is an excellent name for a band and now that I'm thinking about it I've remembered I need to give John a few quid from the last time he looked at an amp for me - well over a year ago and had completely slipped my mind! Sorry John!

The word stiletto is what immediately springs to mind.  Can you work that into an original name?

Hmmmm... the guitarist has an amp of that name, but he's selling it! He would probably have to keep it .
