Last year was the first year Black Friday really hit for UK retailers and many will be better setup for it this year (thinking less courier cluster-fucks) but do not be deceived fellow Fretboarders - most companies will offer you a few 'halo' products to tempt you in and not do much on their wider prices during their peak trading period for the year (trade actually dips in the first week or 2 in Dec again, so this week is a big deal)

BTW - Cyber Monday will be just as big this year, if not bigger for deals

And next year, it'll be Voucher-Tuesday and Refundo-Wednesday too, no doubt

I got the EVH flanger for £99 (well, £92 as I had some vouchers IIRC). Granted, I think GV had it for a similar price in this year's "boss gone mad" sale. But still, at that point in time I hadn't seen it for anywhere close to that price. For something that I wanted but couldn't really justify at its usual price, I was pretty pleased. (Online purchase too, so I didn't have to risk the crowds.)

Amazon aren't bothering with BF/CM, they are just upping the daily deal count for the next two months. 

Asda bowed out of BF last year already, so with any luck this ridiculous paean to consumerism at its grossest will vanish here, if not across the pond as well.

To be honest the Amazon BF deals were always a bit meh anyway, other than the Gibson blowout.
