Seriously: If you value it, take/fetch it yourself

I'd love to jump something but I'd only be able to afford a Chinese casino in the summertime nevermind a 330

- the Korean was better put together. The fretwork, finishing, and overall feel were better the then Chinese ones I played. The color looked better and the F holes were neater.
- the pickups in the Korean were f*cking awful. Dull, loud, lifeless. The Chinese ones were so far ahead it was hilarious.
- the hardware on both was just ok. Not bad, but not great either. They're not an expensive guitar, but for the money you'd expect a bit more.
So I went with the Korean purely becase I could change the bad stuff pretty easily, and as it stands the only thing on it I haven't changed is the nut and frets. Everything else has been upgraded.
The pickups were changed first. The boy Ash at Oil City (@TheGuitarWeasel) did this for me becuase it was a fiddley job with different pole piece measurements, but everything else I did myself over time. I've only played an Elitist Casino once, but I've played an Elitist Riviera loads a a friend has one. In terms of quality under the fingers my guitar is every bit as good.
So in short:
- there are great chinese ones out there and the pups on them are pretty good
- consider what you can change when buying it.
- you'll have a totally great guitar if you spend a bit of money on it, but don't expect to get that money back on resale.
Noise, randomness, ballistic uncertainty.

I'm thinking about getting either an elitist casino or es 330 at some point, if I decide to move my Johnny Marr Jag on. They really sound lovely, just need a neck I can get on with.
They basically have
