Noob Strap Lock Question.

Grolsh bottle tops are the best option (I got black ones on eBay) main issue is they are a bastard to get off - which is the point I suppose.

Easy enough - you have to twist it, then work it off.  It can feel like you're yanking it a bit, but it's fine.  

Surprised @octatonic had them fall off in a gig.  I've never had them fall off, though I suppose it technically could happen, you'd need to be really, really unlucky.  I have enough trouble getting them off, it takes a good twenty seconds of fiddling and pulling.  Once the top bit has twisted on, though, it's fixed absolutely solid.  I pull-tested my LTD and after applying 40lbs of pressure courtesy of hooking fishing scales on, it still held strong.
