Well the pickup got a trip back to @mojopickups.  I posted it Monday, it was back with me Friday afternoon.  I am amazed by that service!

Mostly.   Sounds awesome and is playing well.... just needs to settle in a bit before some final tweaks

glad its not laughed off the forum.   its  a nice  simple build and I think my idea for the finish works quite well, even if it is quite an unrealistic relic.  in real life there is just enough translucency to the black/oxblood to make it really interesting on the worn areas


just made a aluminium truss rod cover and back plate - and engraved my logo in the truss rod cover as I suddenly realised it had no logo

so its done, and its easily one of the most resonant builds I have ever made
