Yeah £450 (even £373) is a bit much for a garageband/pawnshop type amp. Granted, two speakers and nice cosmetics, but still. The excelsior could be got for not much over £200- granted some corners had been cut, I'd have preferred it to be made better and cost an extra £50 or so, but still. Around £300 would be a nicer price-point. For £450 you're into serious amp money- not necessarily amps which will do the same type of tone, of course, if that's what you're after, but you can get a Jet City 50 watt head and Harley Benton 2x12 cab with v30s for that kind of money on Thomann.
