You guys need to learn how to use a microwave. they are not for cooking anything.... Ever... Without exception

They can be used to defrost things as long as you take it easy and don't trust the instructions

Uncorrect. They should be used solely for steaming things, they're really rather good at heating water to boiling point. Who knew?

Nah, shop bought lasagnes are great nuked, cheese goes all hard on the edges. Perfect for thickening up a pot noodle when you've put too much water in too (take the lid off) never give me nuked beans though-dog shit.

Giant crumpets instead of muffins for eggs Benedict is the way forward. Especially if the crumepts are oven cooked with cheese on top.

Nothing done in a microwave will ever taste anything other than rubbery and soggy. Stick em under the grill...

I have perfected microwave cooking. Some Do's and Don'ts

    1. Don't do pies or crumpets - they go soggy then turn to cement within mins
    2. A full Roast with all trimmings in a combi MW takes TWICE as long as in conventional oven
    3. Get a Rice/veg steamer to do all your rice and veg - save £10000's in energy costs / time
4.Pre warm your sausages before grill/fry and they brown quicker
    5. ALWAYS wipe the moisture out the MW before closing the door as the fckers rust within months if you don't!

The biggest bennie of a MW though is the ability to do a DIET / NO FAT -  Full English on the cheap/in 2mins+

Bacon is rubbish in a MW but deli Ham is not! Put your ham in a sealed container for 90 secs and it will come out like crispy bacon. Same for your Toms - do cover them though. BBeans - obvious, and with a little 50p MW egg cooker they're done in  just  23secs (no more or hard).

So whilst you been doing that you have had your toast toasting/kettle kettling... so - result a full eengleesh in under 5 mins including buttering toast time/making tea time...

Oh and fancy some fried onions with your sausage sarnie or Burger/Hot Dog roll?? Chop your onions, add a little Olive Oil in same covered dish and give them 2 mins... perfecto...

Microwaves have their place in cookery, for example fish and scrambled eggs come out lovely if you do it right, but crumpets? Nah.

Bacon does cook well in a microwave as long as a) you use a proper microwave safe plate and b) you don't mind cleaning the fucking bejeezus out of it afterwards. Plus, bonus, you can mop up the fat from the plate with bread after it's done.

I believe that not only have a number of people tried doing crumpets in a microwave, but that (as per Rule 34) there is almost certainly porn based on the concept.
