    there's nothing in the series so far that I didn't know already..
    but it's fun to watch none the less..

    and I'd rather watch this sort of thing than the popularity contests with shite singers / shite guitarists / dancing dogs or fading celebrities eating insects in the jungle, gagging and puking etc etc etc..
    play every note as if it were your first

    I watched the first one last night. Some interesting bits but I'd rather a bit more actual physics and a bit less of the on location side stories.  But then again the programme is very much to inspire and entice new people into the sciences rather than people with existing knowledge and interest.  Still, some good bits, and although he's not got the gravitas and clasic narration voice of David Attenborough, his enthusiasm is infectious.
