This thread has made my night. After a thoroughly shite day I sat down with a wee whisky and did some forum browsing. Coming across this just cheered me right up. FWIW I'm team @Beef and wholly disagree with everything @glynes has said. Also, I find his flexible use of language and grammar irresponsible ;-)

Jamal's trying to go back! He was only here on holiday, but some ham-fisted have-a-go-vigilante put him in hospital. Now he's stuck; he's missed his flight home with his brother Juan and had his wallet nicked so can't afford another.

His mother disputes the oft-quoted adage that if you've seen Juan you've seen Jamal, and wants her son to come home safely.

Jamal, Juan, Glynes (and maybe even Beef himself) are just fictional characters. I'm more worried about the poor Tubescreamer.. who knows where the impoverished little green lad will wash up next?
