edited January 2017 in Guitars £

For Sale -  an almost vintage 1994 ( centenary year ) Gibson Les Paul Custom Plus

100% stock and original in Flamed Cherry Sunburst
  Ebony Fretboard
  Grover Kidney Tuners
  No scratchplate, no holes drilled
Feels like a 60s slim taper neck profile
Not too heavy for one of these at around 9lbs. ( Bathroom scale with and without method )
  490R / 498T pickups
Original Canadian brown & pink case in good condition for age with shroud, clasps and combo all present and working
In fantastic all round condition for year. The top is a lovely flamed cherry, has a ding on the top bout you'll see on the photo, pretty much where your arm will rest. Also a ding on the back of the neck behind the 5th fret but it's all the way round near the high strings.  Doesn't effect playing at all.
The back is a nice deep red with a small area of very slight worming, otherwise great.
Signs of being played and age - some fret wear up to around 5, particularly behind the G string. Still plays really nice with a very low buzz free action. Pickup covers have lost some gold finish through play and cleaning
Vintage in Jan 2019, a really nice looking, playing and sounding Gibson Custom

There's one exactly the same in the "50 years of the Gibson Les Paul" book 90s section

Priced to sell with the little bits and pieces at £1,795 or sensible near offers

  **Now £1,695**

Cash / Collect please from Whitley Bay or can deliver / meet within reason

I'm not ruling out trades up or down, prefer cash sale but always interested in USA solid body electrics

  Thanks
