Part of the reason for prices going nuts in Acton is due to people leaving Shepherds Bush, selling down there and coming up here and buying and being mortgage free.

Solicitors on the case and survey is booked in for the 27th.

I have SOOO much to do to stage our house for photos and an open house next weekend.

This street seems to be selling well at the moment so we are hoping for offers over asking price.

Niceone. London prices are insane. Mines tripled since 2001. (Shame rental yields have not followed suit as they are paying for my PhD).

Chiswick is crazy expensive, but still a rising market.

I kinda think the best bargains are in Acton and West Ealing at the moment- although a lot of Acton has already gone up.

Crossrail is having an effect despite being 3-4 years away still.

I had a floor exactly like that in a house in a palmers green. Some idiot had painted it red. Took me weeks to clean it off.

Ooh, that's a lovely house! A place in West London would suit me at the moment as I'm working in Oxford. Would love to buy it - but unfortunately significantly out of my price range   Although the price seems fair ...

We had an open day today- our house has been on the market for less than a week and today we had an offer at the asking price.
