On the Asus Memopad right now and I'm on this thread. Go down to the bottom of the page, click on the text box, and absolutely diddly squat happens. It won't let me enter text in there.

I've also just tried to go to my post a little further up this page and edit it on the Memopad. No can do. It won't let me enter text. The keyboard comes up on the Memopad screen then disappears in a flash.
Have you tried it on the html mode?
I've got the same on a nexus - click on the text box and it just acts as though you've hit a home key and it takes you to the top of the page

I shall dust off my Nexus in the morning and see what's happening.

And whilst I *could* do it, it wasn't a pleasant experience.

It loads the normal site rather than the mobile version, so there's not a lot of screen space to play with.

By default it loads the screen in layout view, with no on-screen keyboard.  Use the <> button to toggle into code view, and the keyboard appears on screen, allowing me to type.  As soon as I toggle back to layout view, the keyboard disappears.  Hence, unless I enter <br> codes as I'm typing, I've no way of breaking the paragraphs.

Yes, this is a known issue.

The android browser/mobile chrome doesn't like the WYSIWYG editor. I don't think it's fixable because the problem is to do with the fundamental way the WYSIWYG editor works. I've reported it to the person that makes the editor some time ago and they haven't done anything about it.

The best we could do would be to put the editor into show source by default when using android, but I don't think this is an ideal solution.

I have found that I am unable to add comments to threads, on my android tablet - but I can add comments, using my android phone... Which is quite annoying...
so if you fancy a reissue of a guitar they never made in a colour they never used then it probably isn't too overpriced.

I can post from my IPad Air, but I don't get any line breaks. How do you get them so I can put some spacing in between paragraphs?

Use the button with the red <>, right end of the text box toolbar.

It doesn't do anything except either insert & nbsp or drop out of editing mode.
    <br>
Just testing here to see if I can manually add a break.

This is from my iPad Air

Once I've toggled the <> button.

With para breaks.  Text box background should be white, rather then yellow.

And here we go, entering text on a Nexus 7.

Full site, not the mobile version.

    With line breaks and everything.

    Dolphin browser!

I can't insert pics from Ipad.

The pic icon Is greyed out and when you click on it it does nothing.

Is there a way round this?

This on the iPad and still can't do new posts on the Xperia (android) tablet unless I quote somebody and then delete out that quote. Like @TTony on his Nexus these are both the full sites - is there not a way to choose the mobile site? The mobile site comes up on my android phone. If I accidentally hit the full site button I can't get back without closing the tab and restarting.

Just tried to enter text using a Hudl 2 on Android Chrome. I clicked the <> thingy and had no end of problems, including not having the ability to add paragraphs as others have stated.
    This is using Dolphin.
    Paragraph...
    As suggested by Tony.
    No problems at all.

    Edit:

    Line breaks.

    Work too. Sweet!

There is a link to get back to the mobile site at the bottom of the page.

The mobile site link at the bottom of the page is missing on my hudl too. Its there on my mobile.
No matter when using Dolphin and the full site. It seems to work seamlessly.
