    I do like that rapier.

The airstream's cock and balls truss rod cover amused me though.
Can't sing, can't dance, can handle a guitar a little.

Love the Wilson. My first guitar was a red Watkins Rapier 33.

I feel a lot of Nostalgia for guitars like the Rapier 22.

But on the rare occasions that I have bought a very cheap vintage guitar.....for "slide"......I am disappointed when I get home and remember that I don't play slide.

Ooh, the Rapier 22 was an object of lust in my early teenage years - drooling over the "Bells of Surbiton" catalogue was one reason for not doing homework...

That's the one! - couldn't remember the name. Priced in guineas, those were the days.

The trem in that Hofner looks like it's an adventure in intonation!

I had one of those Airstream Guitars... it had a neck like a Telegraph Pole! The pickups were OK once I'd sorted the wiring out, but doubled as good vocal mics if you stuck a RAT in the signal path!

Where on earth do you keep finding all this stuff?

    Rarely eBay or Gumtree.

Friends, acquaintances, Charity shops, Music shops, Cash Converters, etc.

I'll often get messages/calls from people/shops who know what I like.
