Very much so.
Another great rock & roll guitarist/singer from the fifties who is still regularly gigging at 80 years old is Charlie Gracie. Still playing that big three-pickup Guild that looked so cool. Great guitar playing. One of the best.
As Granny Weatherwax says, "I aten't dead yet".
Remember, it's easier to criticise than create!
I also wondered if Ritchie Blackmore could just sneak in, but he didn't start playing professionally until 1960.
