Bad Cat Black Cat head for sale or trade. This amp is basically the same as a Matchless C30 (which is the head version of the fabled DC30). In a nutshell, it's beautiful 3D tone to die for.

This in excellent condition and has only two small match-head scuff. Old style covering and dual input. Looking for £950

Trades or PX welcome. Like this listing, all trade proposals must be competitively valued..

    yum.

    does this take pedals well?

I have   fender deluxe reverb reissue with a celestion gold in it (plus the orginal speaker).  Would that be of interest?

Never had a problem with any pedals. I've put drives such as Suhr Riot, Fulltone 70, OCD, TS808 - all sound super-duper. Delays / chorus / phase all worked well. Compression is particularly nice through this amp. DRRI is of interest if sensibly priced.

Nice.  I like the sound of these more than the Marshally sound.

    Edited for irrelevancy.

Superb amps these, I have the 2x12 combo. Heavier than a small car but what a sound. I had mine and a Matchless DC30 in stereo for a while but sold the Matchless as the Bad Cat was the better sounding amp to me. Best of Luck with the Sale, I'm almost tempted myself!

No. It's not really the kind of amp that would need one. It all about 3D tones and lightly driven sounds. Your big distortions, if you use them, would come from your pedal board with this kind of rig.

  • Just reviewing these:

Playing not quite right, but the sound is great.  When he gets past the intro.

    Clean.  This is gorgeous.

  • This is a good compare between this and the Matchless.  Huge difference with a Gibson.

I like it from about 3:00 onwards.  Lush and organic.  I am so tempted at this moment.

I'm based in the north east. Teesside.

Good looking amps but Mesa's make my brain hurt. :(

:) No problem.  Quite easy really.  Just duplicates the eq section for each channel, and has a choice of drive levels/types.

    And a sag control.

    Best of luck anyways.
