    The SporkyDisco Nee-Naw.

Wah shell, but the sweep makes Fire Engine noises.
There's a ladder on the treadle.
And it's got a blue flashing light when it's on.

Sporky still hasn't made me it but there was a mock up on MR at one point.

Plug the guitar into the amp socket and the amp into the guitar socket - there's you're nee-naw sorted ;)
A sig-nat-eur? What am I meant to use this for ffs?! Is this thing recording?

Right. So you want a comb filter in place of the regular wah circuit filter. I would want a controllable feedback parameter on such a device; works really well in modular setups!

We have a comb filter in our Etch filter plugin, and it sounds fantastic!
Controllable feedback is well aligned with my interests.

It'd also be nice if you could switch the comb filter to a notch, or between geometric and arithmetic spacing (ie phaser or flanger esque).

A decent polyphonic synth pedal that responded to playing dynamics and didn't require a hex pickup.
I reckon we are pretty close- given how good http://www.jamorigin.com/midi-guitar/ is.
    Cool :)

A phaser in a wah shell, with the rocker sweeping the filter directly (not controlling the speed of an LFO).

I set up something similar on my VG-88 and it was a most excellent sound.
I think MXR's Custom Shop did something like this a few years ago? It's effectively a Phase 90 in an orange-finished Crybaby shell.

The Nova system, but revised to be easier to use, have a loop, and better patch switching, but still be as small and a similar price. They must be working on it.

This would be perfect - I'm sure there were rumours of a Nova 2 and a G system 2 a few months ago but I haven't seen any indication from TC yet.

That sounds familiar, but I thought (possibly incorrectly) that the treadle affected the LFO speed rather than sweeping the filter manually?

I quite like treadle-controlled tremolo as well, but in that instance the treadle should control the LFO speed. Quite a dramatic effect.

How about a foot-controlled feedbacker type thing? So you go toe-down for more feedbacks. Not sure exactly how it'd work internally, but that's not what this thread's for, right?

Wasn't there a fender (IIRC) pedal that did that...or something like that...maybe?

  • The boss feedbacker and booster too? It's a white boss pedal, and when you hold it, it crawls into feedback.
