I'd have thought a Tele would be a pretty good choice for Paperback Writer.

There are two possible explanations for your difficulty:

1) You can't actually play Paperback Writer at all - and unfairly maligning your Telecaster, or

2) Your too pissed to play anything - and are unfairly maligning your Telecaster and your own ability.

You can play anything on a Telecaster.

I had a series 2a..........I wouldn't want to do that either !

Can you do video calling somehow?
I'm not on Iphone anymore but i can put skype on the pc and borrow a webcam probably ? (I should buy one, i know)

I aint got a series two, I got one of those old fender things, you know, between series and defender? Serender!  But I do have skype somewhere, I live in the sticks and my internet is pretty much constipated but it does work sometimes, but hey if your ever in the deepest darkest depths of Suffolk you are more than welcome here fella.
