  • This is actually basically my rig.

    Jaden Rose Series 2 (lightweight)
    Jet City JCA50H/100HDM
Mooer Ninety Orange / Mosky Silver Horse / TC Flashback (with a tap switch)

The only difference between this and my live rig is that I either use an extra Silver Horse or replace both with a Thorpy Heavy Water, depending on how I'm feeling that day.

I do prefer the Keeley Eccos to the Flashback, but it's not great with line-level loops. Once I've modded the amp to move the loop and make it instrument-level, the Eccos will be replacing the Flashback.

I'm a cheap date. If space were no issue, I'd like the following:

My Squier VM Mustang (with lace sensors)

    Digitech Whammy
Joyo Sweet Baby (or I assume the Mad Professor it's a copy of would do the same job, but ££)
Behringer SF300 (or I imagine the Boss version would also do the same job, but ££)

    Fender Hot Rod Deluxe

    *Marshall Guv’nor

    *Boss VB-2

    *EHX (BB) DLXMM

They've been making musical equipment for centuries - H7 has only been collecting for decades :)

Same as some others in here, this is actually the totality of my rig & guitar collection.

    1) MIM 60s classic series lacquer strat w/ 57-62 pickups, swap for a AVRI62 for 'dream spec'
    2) My CC-1 clone, 1776 deluxe reverb pedal I built and my dunlop mini wah
    3) My Fender Vibrochamp, swap for a 5 watt milkman or rift or something for 'dream spec'

My brain isn't big enough for anything else really.

    Tele
    Tweed Deluxe
    a drive pedal
    a tremolo pedal
    err ...

I don't have a Tele or a Tweed Deluxe I'm afraid. But the last time I played a gig, which was towards the tail end of the previous century, I had a Strat, Marshall and Tube Screamer. I once borrowed a delay pedal and taped it to the TS so that I could activate both at the same time, and felt very superior to the folks who were dragging around racks.

My 1970's rig would fit this, 1961 SG/LP Junior, Blond Fender Tremolux with matching Bassman cab, original Wem wah, Schaller Fuzz Wah and MXR Phase 90.  I also had a Strat that I used on some numbers, with a DiMarzio SDS1 in the bridge position.  It was a great sounding rig, but was pretty loud.  I used the Wem Wah as a tone and sustain control, any actual Wah sounds, I did through the Schaller.  When I moved to the States in 1980, I had to sell everything except for my Ovation acoustic.

kinda familiar really. The super reverb only if there is local crew. Otherwise, Tone Master Deluxe Reverb if I’m carrying it.

  • It depends on band I would be playing in and volume.
Playing in my last band for quite a few years it was just an Excelsior amp, Esquire and OD, Delay and Compressor.
but if it needed to cover all bands I used to play in doing rockier stuff it would be
my Tele, JCM 800 4010 combo, and a Brownstone OD pedal
