A strange question I guess ...
I was fishing around on catchup TV late last night looking for something to watch, and on ITV I noticed
Man about the house from the 70s. Some nostalgic memories kicked in and I stuck the first episode on. In my mid teens when this aired I was absolutely smitten by Paula Wilcox, which I admit was partly the attraction in re-watching - however, watching again all these years later I found myself far more attracted to Sally Thomsett now. This surprised me to be honest as I had such a thing for Paula.
OK, so sad old man watching young women aside, I actually rather enjoyed it, I shall be watching a few more. Richard O'Sullivan was such a likeable actor back then, and Brian Murphy & Yootha Joyce were great supporting characters.
Sally left, Paula right

How else to get millions of dads to pay attention to Girl Power?
As to the original question, yes. In my teens anything over 30 was ancient, now in my 60th year anything under 30 is way too young to be interesting.
Mine were more early 80s, big hair all the way!!
I can say, quite honestly and without fear of contradiction, that yes, it has.

Was it Celebrity Pointless?
I saw her on that recently and I didn't recognise her either, she looked terrible - and for some reason she couldn't stand at the podium, she had to play seated.
