I know some find subtitles just as distracting, but I don't even notice I am reading them now. I even have subtitles on for normal stuff as it means i can focus when there are other distractions

Subtitles for me too - couldn't stand dubbing (it would remind me of The Flashing Blade - one for the kids there!) and I've watched lots of foreign movies / TV over the years, so well used to subtitles now.
Not sure about the ending. It did feel as if Netflix wants to keep its options open instead of committing to a proper story arc.
I finished it Friday, then started watching it again last night with Korean language/English subtitles. It’s so much better already. Definitely makes more sense.
I wish I could speak the language to enjoy it properly. I’ve heard Korean all day every day for the last 20 years at work. I recognise all the words but just have no idea what they mean, other than the basics.
I can't help about the shape I'm in, I can't sing I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you, I might not give the answer that you want me to
I suppose some folk prefer dubbing so they are free to do other things while just listening to the movie, but does that not mean one isn't paying proper attention to begin with ?
Each to their own.
Errrm no, other than every episode being absolutely full of it?
