Jared Leto must be fuming. Not only has JP done a better Joker by a very long way, but Gaga appears to have outdone Margot Robbie as HQ too. Todd Phillips must be feeling smug as hell.

I really don't go for the comic book/DC/Marvel films but this darker, grittier take is fantastic.

Never liked Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn.  She proper hams it up big time.

Looking forward to this, Gaga was excellent in AHS and the first Joker is on my list of films that I can watch over and over (and have)

Well it'll go well with the first film, which they'd already made as The King of Comedy.

Seriously, I haven't watched the trailer, I don't like trailers.  But I'll watch the film.

Wouldn't be arsed with it. The whole point of the Joker is that he is unknowable and just wants the world to burn. This humanising him is just not for me. Didn't like the first one at all.

I liked Margot Robbie as HQ but Suicide Squad was dogshit, didn’t bother with the sequel.
Looking forward to this though, loved the first one. The riot scene with White Room playing was one of many highlights for me.

    The first Joker was outstanding.
Personally I really enjoyed the different take on the DC franchise. Rather than adults running around in spandex this took a much darker psychological look at the character and it blew me away. Cant wait for the second one.

The 2nd Suicide Squad (can’t remember if just called The Suicide Squad?) was actually very good. I wasn’t remotely bothered until faced with a 12 hour flight but it’s great fun and not actually a sequel at all, just another movie with HQ and a similar setup, kinda how Bond movies always used to be pre-Craig

I thought the first film was alright in it's own right but didn't think it worked very well as a batman spinoff.

Interesting viewpoint. I never looked at it like that. For me, it was an excellent character study and an interesting use of a fictional villain as a means to understand mental health. Either way, I loved the first and am hopeful I'll love this one, too. I'm quite excited to see what Lady Gaga brings to the film as well.

The first one for me, is one of the greatest films ever, I didn't think anyone was going to outdo Ledger as the Joker but Phoenix was simply jawdropping. His performance was off the scale as a character study, I can watch it now again and again and I cannot take my eyes off him it's so so good. Ledger was equally as magnetic but JP wins it for me.

I'm looking forward to this and dreading it in equal measure because the first one is so good, I will approach it with an open mind though.

My head said brake, but my heart cried never.
