Brokeback Mountain with Scarlett Johannson and Jessica Alba.

I’m so bored I might as well be listening to Pink Floyd

I happily 'boot' whoever it was who decided that rehashing an old idea should be called 'rebooting'.

My 12 year old son says it all the time - along with 'gotten'.

This kind of thing needs to stop....

I'd quite like to remake Quadrophenia, having first booted Sting somewhere.

I watched it again recently and he really ruins what is otherwise a near-perfect film.

Noooooooo!  An almost perfect version already exists! Why remake it?

  • None of them.

Make some new films you unimaginative hollywood types.
    I agree.

The Running Man is genius as it is :)

I dint think batman has been rebooted enough yet.
I'd love to see a live-action attempt of Batman Beyond while Clint's still around to play old-man Bruce (or failing that, Keaton I suppose).

Some stories are worth re-telling, it all depends on the storyteller.

    Dune. Done properly this time!
I actually really like Dune. OK I read the books after seeing the film but I find it quite epic.

The Riddick films I'd like to see rebooted, the second one had a lot of promise.
Just get rid of the fact that Riddick is an escape artist and expand on the story a lot more. The visuals were fantastic.

I wish Alejandro Jodorowsky had been able to make his version.

@fretmeister thats what i'm talking about, the ending was a bit twin towers though. but him running around amerika with cash prizes for the public finding him is a great plotline.

It kinda was, albeit not in the cinema but as a stage adaption with Christian Slater in Jack Nicholsons role.  To be fair, it was nearly as perfect as the film.

Still in my top five movies that, absolutely stunning.

World War Z, but making it have more semblance to the book (i.e. any fucking semblance whatsoever).
