Who's never played to an audience?

I have very little experience playing in front of peeps, have done some charity nights but that was mainly comedy..

it is something I am working to change tho, the local scene in Leicester is amazing at the minute so many music venues doing open mic nights.

When I was 16 I jammed with a band hoping to get a few gigs with them. After about 4 sessions the lead guy in the band (18 and a pretty good guitarist) told me I was crap and to "fuck off"!

I've been a bedroom player ever since then - I'm now 61.

I remember him being ultra-serious, never smiled and having a big ego. I hope he came up against someone who could give some of it back.

I live in Crawley but never ever plucked up enough guts to go to the Tuesday night Northgate jam-in. I also get petrified going into guitar shops to try out a guitar.

54. Not played for anyone let alone an audience. Mrs A doesn't like my music. I don't think I'm up to it to be honest, I can never learn songs so I just noodle badly.
